Frank & Ernest Debt Free
It took me awhile to find this, knowing it was out there somewhere. I spent 15-30 minutes to finally locate it. How true this thing is. It appeared in papers on March 24, 1990.

Huge Boost For Satellite Radio
Mind you, this has nothing to do with protecting kids. This is a tool of the powers that be to make sure that broadcasters toe the line. Just as the Government is now using the excuse of protecting children to justify massive warrantless country wide spy operations, they are using fines for speech that keep consolidated media groups in check under the guise of protecting people from indecency. It’s for the children that I want to fine radio stations ten times as much for making fart sounds than we do for companies that dump toxic waste. Naturally the Democrats were completely spineless in this power play. (Congressman Gary Ackerman (NY-05) being a rare exception.)

Review: Cars
Also, I like Pixar’s work. Toy Story, Nemo, Incredibles were all terrific. I saw no reason why this should be any different. You can bank on lots of good little jokes, some visual treats you didn’t expect, and some real quality animation. Speaking of the animation, I read something interesting online about the movie. Even though the processors they used while animating this movie had 4 times the power of the ones they used while making the Incredibles, it still took an average of 17 hours to render a single frame of film. Do the math… 24 frames/second * 1 hour 56 minute runtime = 167,040 frames of animation * 17 hours = 118,320 DAYS of cpu time. Wow.

Funny Volkswagen Commercials
What’s funny about a German car commercial, you might ask…but trust me. These are funny. Volkswagen has made many funny commercials up through the years, but these…somewhat…recent commercials are just the best. Enjoy!!!

Backyardigans
The Backyardigans is what all kids shows should strive for. Remember Bugs Bunny and how great he was when you were a kid? You watch Bugs now and he's still funny, but for completely different reasons. That's the way Backyardigans is. It's great for kids - my boys love it. When it comes on, they jump up and dance and sing along. They watch the same episodes over and over (ah, the joys of Tivo), and the thing is, I watch them over and over with them.

The Preaching Of An Effeminate Jesus
This is not surprising as much of American theology comes not from the biblical presentation of Christ but rather from the historic drawings of a weak, casper milktoast, effeminate Jesus who is some sort of divine doormat; helplessly ignored and trampled upon. A contemporary example of an auxiliary to this is the satirical portrayal of evangelicals through the character Ned Flanders in The Simpsons.

Going To See Cars
Once again, the national treasure known as Pixar has released an animated feature to rave reviews from jaded film critics. I'll admit to having been underwhelmed by the trailers for Cars and the attendant commercial saturation - and knowing Owen Wilson was the star didn't help. But like the rest of moviegoing America, I'll go see it and probably enjoy it. I must keep in mind that wasn't thrilled going into The Incredibles either, but came away pleasantly surprised.

Ratatouille Trailer
From the Director of The Incredibles, Brad Bird, comes Ratatouille. It is another Pixar collaboration but unlike Cars (this year’s Pixar offering), a relevant story in Ratatouille is immediately recognizable in the trailer.

New Photos Of Bigfoot
UPDATE: On this site you will find 4 very funny commercials involving hikers who play high-school pranks on a sasquatch. They are totally worth watching. Don’t miss the “too hot for TV” versions of the commercials either.
