Does anyone remember that Bugs Bunny cartoon with the bratty kid yelling, “I want an Easter Egg! I want an Easter Egg!”? (Total misuse of punctuation there, I know, but putting the question mark inside the quotes just didn’t seem right. Should I have removed the last ! and put the ? instead? That would be weird, too.) It was actually a cartoon from 1947 called Easter Yeggs (and I’m amazed that a)it’s on IMDB and b)it’s from 1947 but they were still playing it in the 70s when I grew up.
