Review: Jellyfishland
I've always been a big fan of Veggietales. Yeah, I know, I'm too old for that stuff right? But how many of you haven't seen The Incredibles, Toy Story, and Monsters, Inc.? Somehow computer animation has managed to grab the attention span of the young and old together, and VeggieTales was not an exception - at least the last time I saw one perhaps two years ago.

The Kids Are Quiet
Ok, enough of the mushy mushy. Must go get the grill fired up for hamburgers. At the moment Tashie and Logan are actually quiet (*gasp!*) watching ‘Monsters, Inc.
” so I”m gonna take advantage of this time. hehehehe

Final Fantasy 7
My Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children dvd came yesterday pala! Woot!! I bought it sa Ebay. Yahuu.. Ang ganda nga ng graphics!!! Nakakatuwa sya promise! Ndi choppy yung movements ng characters and properties.. Like the hair and clothes and fur. Basta!! And the details are so realistic talaga. Yung crowd, parang mga totoong tao umasta, pati lakad! Iba-iba. ndi mechanical ang feel. Ang galing!!

Disney Movies, The Old-Fashioned Way
And of course, culture in the form of classic Disney movies. Forget Monsters, Inc., and Toy Story and all those other new-age computer-animated flicks. I am talking Lady and the Tramp, and 101 Dalmations, and Pete's Dragon, and Mary Poppins. These were staples of my upbringing, and I memorized the music to each and every single one of them. Pete's Dragon was one of my personal favorites, being that it was the first movie to integrate animation with a regular movie with real actors. And then there is the tried and true Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Great Films
Again, I should not get so wound up about it. Maybe I wouldn’t if I didn’t have twins 5 years after first child. See, as sick as I am of the McDonalds toys, Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc. were still great films. They don’t take away from the original idea’s quality. As weak as most film sequels are, I can still watch the originals and appreciate them on their own merits.
